Annual Governors’ Conference 2018

Taking place on Saturday 17th November 2018, from 9:00 am to 15:00 pm, the theme of this year’s Governors’ Conference will be “School Leaders Managing Change”.  It will feature two inspirational keynote speakers Paul Brooker, Ofsted, and Phil Beadle who will open and close the day.  Throughout the day delegates will have the opportunity to attend two seminars of their choice.  Exhibitions will also be present offering a range of opportunities to educational settings.

The venue is the Hertfordshire Development Centre, Stevenage, SG1 2FQ.  Registration & refreshments open at 8:15 am. Refreshments will be available up to 8:55 am. Parking will be available on-site at Robertson House.

Attendance is free of charge for Governors of schools/academies who subscribe to the Governor training package. A charge of £175 per person if your school does not subscribe.  Cancellation charges may apply depending on notice given.

To book online visit the HfL Bookings Site or, alternatively, email training@nullhertsforlearning.co.uk.  Once you have submitted your online booking, a confirmation will be sent to you (within one week) and you will be sent a Survey Monkey link to confirm your seminar options.  Please note that seminars will be secured on a first come first serve basis so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Awards & AGM

The HASG Governor Awards and Annual General Meeting will be held in the Oak Room and prior to the opening keynote speaker.  HASG are always looking to recruit new executive committee members.  Should you be interested in joining please either contact our Administrator, Claire Lanni, at admin@nullhertsgovernors.org or come and find us at the Conference.
