The 2019 HfL Shareholder Satisfaction survey to Hertfordshire Chairs is now available to complete online with a deadline of 24th May!

The HASG would strongly urge all Chairs to complete the survey.

DfE Updates Governance Guidance

DfE Updates Governance Guidance

On 22nd March, DfE issued updated Governance Guidance.  The new Governance Handbook sets out the roles, functions and legal duties of governing boards in maintained schools, academies and multi-academy trusts. As usual our AGM took place during the Annual Hertfordshire Governors’ Conference at Robertson House on 17th November 2018.  As required by our constitution Chairs of member schools had been notified and circulated with the relevant papers 21 days beforehand.
The Chair’s report and the Treasurer’s report were presented and the subscription level for 2019-2020 was approved (unchanged)
